The Health tab records wellness and health-related observations for the calendar date selected at the top of Track. MAR has its own tab when enabled; medications/vitamins checklists in the Health sidebar appear only when MAR is turned off for that profile.
Sections on the Health tab
What you see depends on how the profile is configured and which categories are set to visible. Layout is similar on web and mobile; web is described below.
Observable Health (1–10 slider)
A single slider for how the person seemed overall that day (1 = worst, 10 = most optimal). Move the slider to save — no + button.
Menstrual cycle
When Track Menstruation is Yes on Profile → Personal Details, a Currently Menstruating checkbox appears. Toggle it to save.
Timed health categories and numeric vitals (numeric input + +)
Health Challenges, Overall Health, Food eaten today contained, Digestion, Sleep, Exercise, Water, Weight, and Blood pressure all use the same basic pattern: enter a value in the numeric input field, set time (and duration where shown), then click +. The entry appears in Recorded Today. You can save multiple entries the same day — each + click adds another row.
Your organization controls which categories appear and what staff typically log on Tracking Templates. Each category can be shown or hidden per profile (default is visible unless a Manager hides it):
| Category | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Health Challenges | Timed events such as seizure activity or episodes |
| Overall Health | Symptoms or states your team tracks — configured per profile, not a fixed product-wide list |
| Food eaten today contained | Foods or ingredients — log as many separate entries as you need |
| Digestion | Digestion-related observations — same numeric-input + + pattern |
| Sleep, Exercise, Water, Weight, Blood pressure | Numeric readings (hours, ounces, weight, mm Hg, etc.) |
If a block is missing, either nothing is configured on Tracking Templates yet, or the category was marked hidden for that profile.
General Health comments
A free-text area for section-level context that does not need its own timed row.
Sidebar (when MAR is off)
Medications and Vitamins appear as checkboxes when MAR tracking is disabled for the profile. Tick what was taken that day. A Copy from yesterday shortcut can carry forward prior checks.
When MAR is on, doses are logged on the MAR tab instead.
Incident Reports reminders may also appear in the sidebar when an open IR needs an injury update.
How to log on the web
- Open Track → Health and confirm the date in the header matches the day you're documenting.
- Move the Observable Health slider if you're recording the daily snapshot.
- For each health category or vital with a numeric input — enter the value, set time/duration if shown, click +.
- Add General Health comments if helpful.
How to log on mobile
Open Track → Health and use the same concepts. Layout may group fields differently, but health categories and vitals still use numeric inputs and + to save.
What appears on Analyze
Health data — slider values, timed category entries, numeric vitals, menstrual flag, sidebar med/vitamin checks (when MAR is off), and Health Challenges — feeds Analyze → Dashboard and Analyze → Audit Log for the profile and dates you select. See Dashboard overview and Reading the audit log.
If you logged retroactively, widen the Analyze date range — Charts and date ranges.
Tips
- Coordinate who updates shared daily fields. If two people edit the same day's slider or a single numeric total, whoever saves last sets what is stored for that field on that date.
- Use General Health comments for detail that does not need its own timed row.
- Add multiple rows in any health category whenever the day had more than one observation — enter the value, click +, repeat.
Common questions
-
The Menstrual Cycle block isn't there. — Track Menstruation must be Yes on Profile → Personal Details.
-
Why don't I see Health Challenges, Overall Health, Food, or Digestion? — Check Tracking Templates: the category must be set up and not marked hidden for that profile.
-
Can I enter food more than once today? — Yes. Type each observation and click + — each save is its own entry in Recorded Today.
-
Are Overall Health labels the same for every customer? — No. They come from your organization's setup for that profile, same as other health categories.
