These charts are on the website. In the mobile app, Analyze shows frequency and duration charts.

Timeline
Every entry in sequence — what happened before, during, and after.
Names of what you track sit down the left (Challenging Behavior, Environment, Sleep, and similar). Calendar days sit across the top. A mark appears where a name and a day meet, so you can look down one day or across one type.
Hover a day to see everything logged that day.
Behavior names always appear on the left, even on days with nothing logged. Those days are just blank.
These other names only appear if something was logged:
- Environment
- Health events
- Medications — how many doses were given, skipped, or refused that day (names are on MAR reporting)
- Sleep
- Pressure — a mark when it fell from the day before
- Temperature
Moon phase icons sit above the dates. Staff don’t enter those — they come from the calendar. Weekends are shaded grey. If menstrual cycle is tracked for the profile, days marked as currently menstruating are shaded purple.
Rhythm Map
See patterns by time of day — which hours things cluster in, and what repeats.
The colored marks on the grid are individual logged entries. They take their color from the category they belong to.
- A dot means staff entered a time but no duration
- A longer bar means they also entered how long it lasted — the bar starts at that time and stretches down the hours to match
Time of day runs down the left. Calendar days run along the bottom.
Above the grid, tap a category name to show or hide that category’s marks. Those names are the behavior categories, including intervention strategies. If timed environment entries were logged, those names appear here too.
Hover a mark for the time, title, and category. The hours on the side cover the times when something was logged.
Intervention Lens
See how a strategy looks against the outcomes you logged.
Pick a STRATEGY, then a category under MEASURED AGAINST. The chart splits at the first day that strategy appears in your dates and compares average events per day before and after.

Breakdown
What happened most — frequency and duration side by side, by type.
Each behavior name is a row, sorted by how often it happened in its category. FREQUENCY is the count. DURATION is total time and an average.
If staff left duration blank, that entry still counts as one minute toward DURATION and the average.

Line Graph
How often the behaviors you choose happened, day by day, over the range you picked.
Each line is one behavior name. Open a category, then check the names you want. You can show up to 10. Turn one off to add another. BEHCA remembers your picks for this profile.

Overall Trend
See the long view — totals by category over the last 12 months.
This chart always shows totals by category for the last 12 months. Changing the dates at the top does not change it.

Showing and hiding categories
On Rhythm Map, Breakdown, and Overall Trend, tap a colored category name to show or hide that data. On Rhythm Map and Breakdown, BEHCA remembers your choices for this profile.
On Line Graph, you pick individual names (up to 10), not whole categories.
Category names follow your organization’s labels.

Common questions
- The chart is empty. — Check you have the right profile. Widen the dates. Turn category names back on. Overall Trend still needs history in the last 12 months.
- Does BEHCA remember how I set the charts? — Yes for the view you last opened, the Rhythm Map and Breakdown category choices, and the Line Graph names — for this profile, in this browser.
- Intervention Lens says no strategies logged. — Nothing was logged in any strategy category in these dates. See Intervention Lens.
