1. Dashboard overview

Last updated on May 01, 2026

The Dashboard is BEHCA's main reporting view — the place to see patterns at a glance instead of scrolling through entry-by-entry records.

What you'll see

The dashboard shows different things to different people:

  • Staff and Guests see the dashboard for the profile they're currently viewing.

  • Managers and Billing users can see a per-profile dashboard or a whole-organization view that aggregates across profiles and groups.

In both views, the layout is similar.

Where to find the dashboard

On the web

  1. Sign in at app.behca.com (US) or au.behca.com (Australia).

  2. Pick the right profile (or use the manager-wide dashboard).

  3. Open Dashboard from the main menu.

On mobile

Tap the Analyze tab at the bottom (called Analyze in the US version).

What's on the dashboard

KPI summary cards

The top of the dashboard shows summary cards — one per category:

  • Behavior — count of entries, broken down by category.

  • Interventions — interventions used, with frequency.

  • Health — number of seizures, sleep average, weight, etc.

  • Environment — environmental factors, schedule changes.

Each card shows:

  • Current count for the selected date range.

  • Trend arrow (↑ ↓ →) compared to the previous equivalent period.

  • The percent change.

Charts

Below the KPI cards, bar charts show frequency over time — by day, by week, by category.

  • Behavior by category — which behavior types are most frequent?

  • Trend line — is behavior increasing or decreasing?

  • Health metrics — sleep, weight, BP over time.

  • Color-coded — each profile or category gets its own color.

Recent activity lists

Underneath, scrolling lists show recent entries for each category, newest first. Click any entry to see details or jump to the day's record.

Audit log link

A button or tab links to the full audit log — every entry, every comment, every change, with full filtering. See Reading the audit log.

Manager-only views

Managers and Billing users get extra tabs on the dashboard:

  • User Activity — staff leaderboard showing how many entries each Staff member has logged in the period.

  • Incident Reports — list of IRs with filters.

  • MAR — medication compliance overview.

  • EVV — visits and hours worked across the team.

  • Self-Reporting — entries logged by self-reporters.

  • Documents Archive — Required Documents and signatures across all profiles.

  • Group / profile filter at the top to scope the data.

Date range and filters

Almost every dashboard view supports:

  • Date range — Today, This Week, This Month, Custom (pick start and end).

  • Filter by category — toggle Behavior, Health, Environment, Interventions on/off.

  • Search — type a keyword to filter the visible data.

  • Group / profile filter (Manager only) — scope to a single Group or all profiles.

See Charts and date ranges.

Trends to watch

The dashboard pays off when you look at it regularly:

  • Spikes — sudden increases in challenging behavior, missed sleep, BP changes.

  • Drops — fewer interventions used, less behavior, better sleep.

  • Patterns — a behavior that always shows up on Wednesdays. A health change every full moon. Whatever you spot.

  • Correlations — environment changes lining up with health or behavior shifts.

Exporting

Most dashboard views have an Export PDF or Export to Spreadsheet button. See Exporting PDF reports and CSV exports.

Common questions

  • The dashboard looks empty. — Either the profile has no data in this range, or you're on the wrong profile. Check the profile switcher and date range.

  • The numbers don't match what I expect. — Check the date range and category filters. Often a too-narrow filter is hiding data.

  • Why don't I see the User Activity tab? — That tab is Manager-only.

  • Can I customize the dashboard? — Not currently. The layout is the same for everyone, with role-based tab visibility.
