Analyze uses one compact **date range** control. On **Dashboard**, it sits on the graph toolbar next to the view buttons. On **Audit Log** and **MAR Reporting**, it sits at the top of the page. There is no **Update** button. The page reloads when you finish picking dates. ## How to pick dates - **Click the date label** (for example *Jul 13 – Aug 11, 2026*). Choose a **start** date, then an **end** date. The page reloads on the second click. - **Previous period** (left arrow) and **Next period** (right arrow) shift the range by the same number of days. If you are looking at 30 days, Previous jumps back 30 days. - You cannot pick dates in the **future**. Next is disabled when the range already ends today. Pick concrete dates, or use the arrows. ## Default ranges - **Dashboard** — about the **last 30 days** the first time you open it. It remembers the last range you used on Dashboard. - **Audit Log** and **MAR Reporting** — the **last 7 days**, and they **share** that range with each other. Switching from Dashboard to Audit Log does not copy Dashboard’s 30-day window onto the log. ## How long a range you can pick The longest span is set for your organization. For most organizations that is **three months**. Narrower windows load faster and are easier to read. You cannot pick an end date past today, or past the maximum span from your start date. ## Time zones Dates and days follow the **profile’s time zone**. An entry logged late at night stays on the calendar day it was logged for that person. A profile gets its time zone from its **location**. If a profile has no location (and no time zone), the dashboard falls back to **UTC**, which can shift which day a late-night entry appears on. Setting the profile’s location fixes this. ## Dashboard graph views Switch views with the buttons on the graph toolbar. The last view you opened is remembered in this browser. ### Timeline Stacked rows share one date axis. Hover a **day column** to see everything logged that day, aligned. Tracks appear when that data exists: behavior categories, environment, health events, medications (given / skipped / refused counts), sleep, barometric pressure (with drop markers), and temperature. Moon icons sit above the dates. Weekend columns are shaded grey. If menstrual cycle is tracked for the profile, days marked as currently menstruating are shaded purple. ### Rhythm Map A grid of **days across** and **time of day down**. A **dot** is a momentary event; **capsule length** is duration. Turn category chips on or off. Hover an event for time, title, and category. The time axis fits the events in view (it extends one hour past the last event). ### Intervention Lens Use this when strategies were logged in the range. 1. Pick a **STRATEGY** from the dropdown (it shows how many times it was used and since when). 2. Pick a category under **MEASURED AGAINST**. The chart splits at the first time that strategy was logged in the range. Stats show daily frequency **before** and **after**, plus the percent change. Smaller spark lines show the other outcome categories. If no strategies were logged, the view says **No strategies logged in this date range.** ### Breakdown Each behavior title is a row, ranked by count within its category, with **FREQUENCY** and **DURATION** bars. Duration shows total time and an average. Momentary events count toward frequency only. Turn category chips on or off. ### Line Graph Polylines for individual behavior titles. Expand a category accordion and check titles. You can show up to **10** at a time — turn one off to add another. Title selection is saved for this profile. Hover a day column for those counts. ### Overall Trend Aggregated counts by category over the **last 12 months**. The note on the chart says this is **independent of the date range above**. Turn series chips on or off. ## Category chips On **Rhythm Map** and **Breakdown**, chips turn categories on or off. Those choices are saved for this profile. On **Line Graph**, you pick **titles** (not whole categories), up to 10. On **Overall Trend**, chips hide or show series on the 12-month chart. On **Audit Log**, chips plus **All** / **Clear** filter the entry list. Those filters apply to Audit Log exports. Category names follow your organization’s labels. ## Refreshing data The page reloads when you finish a new date range. Chip and view changes update the graph immediately without a full reload. If you just logged data in another tab, **refresh the browser** to pull it in. ## Common questions - **I changed the dates but nothing happened.** — Click a start date, then an end date. The reload happens on the second click. - **The chart is empty.** — Check the range, the profile, and the chips. **Overall Trend** still needs 12 months of history; a short Dashboard range does not shrink it. - **Can I save a custom layout?** — Graph view, Rhythm/Breakdown chips, and Line Graph titles persist for this profile in this browser. You set the date range each visit (it is remembered until you change it). - **Why don’t Audit Log dates match Dashboard?** — They use separate remembered ranges.
